Christian Education

Kids’ Connection, Sunday mornings following worship, 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

At Kids’ Connection we begin our session with Bible Study using SparkHouse’s Activate Faith curriculum. Each class will explore the stories of our faith with activities and fun! Activities include such things as games, crafts, music, and more. As our time comes to an end we are reminded that we are not only called together in God’s name, but sent out in God’s name as well, to share the Good News that we are all loved, forgiven, and equipped to share God’s love with others!

South Lyon Youth Connection, Sunday evenings 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

The Youth Connection is open to all middle school students in grades 6th – 8th. This is a safe place for our “tweens” to be themselves as they interact with the Pastor, youth leaders, and one another, engaging their faith through Bible stories, discussions, games, and more. The class uses Spark House’s “Connect” curriculum. Connect takes tweens on a journey through both the Old and New Testaments, exploring the connections between the stories and themselves. There will also be opportunities to participate in mission projects, such as the Everyone Eats meal program, and field trips (i.e.,- the Howell Nature Center) throughout the year.

Text of the Week Bible Study, Wednesday Evenings at 7:00 p.m.

Join us on Wednesday evenings as we study the Bible based on the passage that is going to be preached the following Sunday morning. This is a great opportunity to ask questions, participate in friendly conversations, and get a head start on Sunday’s sermon. Whether you’ve been studying the Bible all your life, or are a novice, this class is for you!

Inquirer’s Class

Interested in church membership, or want to know more about the Presbyterian Church? This 3-week class is held at different times of the year based on interest. The class touches on church government, doctrine, and who we are as the Body of Christ.

Seasonal Offerings

Adult studies are offered following worship on Sunday mornings during special times of the year, such as Advent and Lent. Check the bulletin, newsletters, and calendars for offerings.
